Last week I discussed the readings with everyone and I want to explain further that any extra readings outside of our class on Sunday are just that, EXTRA. It is a benefit to the lesson and our discussions in our class, but in no way should you feel any kind of pressure or feel loaded down by something extra, beyond all your school work during the week and other activities that you have. Please know that I understand this.
With that being said, what I really want is just for us all to have a great time in our class on Sunday. I dont want anyone feeling left out or feeling nervous to attend class. I just want to see all your beautiful faces!
So.......
If there is anyone who is still interested, there is good news! The last reading of Doctrine and Covenants 25 was THE LAST READING! Yay!
Since it is the last reading (and like I said last week in class) I am NOT going to hand out any kind of quiz/quizzes on Sunday. If you are still participating in the reading challenge, this is the last assignment:
I want you to write a paragraph of what Section 25 is about and tell me your favorite scripture verse, and why. You can either hand the paper to me on Sunday or you may email it to me at cherylhitch@gmail.com
I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.
See you tomorrow!

Week 10 Questions {church organization}
Hello everyone.
Here are the questions from last week, if you are interested in handing in makeup questions. Remember, you are supposed to use your scriptures for these questions (if you need to). The reading assignment was Doctrine and Covenants Section 20. There are also a few questions that are a review from last week's lesson.
1. On what day was the church organized?
2. In what state of the U.S. was the church organized?
3. How many members does a church need to be legally organized?
4. When the Book of Mormon was first published, how many copies were made?
5. How much did it cost (to publish)?
6. Who paid for the printing of the books and mortgaged his farm to do so?

This week we had a really great lesson about the Three Witnesses and the Eight Witnesses. The reading assignment for the week is:
THE TESTIMONY OF THE THREE WITNESSES
&
THE TESTIMONY OF THE EIGHT WITNESSES
It can be found just after the title page in the Book of Mormon, or just a page or two after.
I hope everyone has a really great week!
